Update: Turns out this was on Jalopnik not too long ago. Thanks for not hooking up my house with Internet sooner, internet company!
So I found this video on reddit and the way it’s edited makes me suspicious because it doesn’t look like official marketing material or anything.
But check it out and let me know wht you think.
How did this not catch on in the car industry?

That video has been making rounds on the internet for some time now. Bose was experimenting with the suspension but it remained experimental. IIRC the jump function had to be manually activated.

Oh cool. This is the fist time I’ve seen the video.and I wouldn’t mind a suspension that I can manually activate to jump either :)

1. Yes, Bose really did make this years ago. It wasn’t the 80's though. I believe it was early 2000's if memory serves.
2. It didn’t catch on because they felt it was too expensive and heavy to be commercially viable. Mercedes has since rolled out a somewhat similar system.

If it's the jumping Lexus, that wasn't 80s but more like early 2000s. It was very heavy and expensive, but the tech was used in big rig seats.

Well damn. That’s what having no internet (only phone data) does to you. Makes you look stupid. Can’t wait to finally have internet tomorrow
